About Roshni,
Roshni is a New Zealand Registered Dietitian (NZRD) who supports adolescents, teenagers and adults through practical, personalised nutrition care. She works collaboratively with clients to help them reach their health and performance goals, translating evidence-based advice into realistic strategies that fit into everyday life — whether navigating busy schedules, recovery, travel, adolescent and teen sport, training demands, or any stage of the health journey.
Her work spans a wide range of areas including gut and digestive health, women’s health, sports performance, paediatric nutrition, type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular risk, injury and surgical recovery, and supporting individuals to improve their relationship with food and navigate disordered eating.
Roshni takes a holistic and evidence-based approach to healthcare, recognising that nutrition exists within a broader context of physical, emotional, social, and lifestyle factors that influence wellbeing. She begins with a thorough understanding of each person’s health history, dietary intake, lifestyle patterns, training load and personal goals before developing tailored nutrition strategies designed to be practical, sustainable, and achievable long term.Rather than focusing on restriction, Roshni takes an additive, whole-food approach that helps people better understand their bodies — discovering which foods help them feel and perform at their best and how to build nourishing habits that support vibrant long-term health. Her philosophy centres on realistic, tiny changes that compound to create lasting behavioural change and sustainable outcomes.
Roshni also recognises the important connection between emotional wellbeing and physical health. Understanding that lived experiences can shape patterns, behaviours, and relationships with food, she works alongside clinical psychologists and counsellors where appropriate to provide holistic support.
Based in Rotorua, Roshni consults in person at GoPhysio and also works with clients online across New Zealand.
Outside the clinic, Roshni is a mum of two teenagers and is actively involved in the mountain biking community, from recreation through to high performance. She is passionate about helping young people engage in nature and sport and understands the realities of balancing work, family, training, and everyday life. A passionate home cook who loves bringing people together through food, Roshni values high-impact, delicious, and sustainable habits that help people nourish, perform, and feel their best.
